Get the data template

Download the Excel template, paste in your half-hourly data, then come back and upload it.

Don’t have your half-hourly data?

Export it from your supplier’s online portal (look for “HH data” or “interval data”), request a 12-month report from your meter operator, or let us fetch it for you under a Letter of Authority. Already have HH data in your own format? You can upload that too - we accept most CSV and Excel exports.

How the Half-Hourly Data Analysis tool works

Every half-hourly metered business in the UK has a detailed record of exactly when it uses energy, yet almost nobody reads it. This free tool turns 12 months of that half-hourly (HH) data into a clear picture of wasted energy: how much you use when the building should be closed, how high your always-on baseload sits, whether your supply capacity is over-provisioned, and how exposed you are to expensive distribution charges. You get an indicative figure for avoidable cost in pounds and carbon, in under three minutes.

1

Download & fill the template

Grab the Excel template and paste in 12 months of half-hourly data - one row per day - or upload your own supplier export.

2

Add your operating hours

Tell us when you open and close, your sector and a few optional details like capacity and floor area.

3

See the waste

Get your avoidable cost, an out-of-hours and baseload breakdown, capacity and DUoS findings, and a prioritised action list.

What the analysis covers

  • Out-of-hours waste - energy used while the site should be closed, above the baseload it genuinely needs.
  • Baseload - your always-on overnight load, compared with good practice for your sector.
  • Supply capacity - whether your agreed kVA is over-provisioned against actual peak demand.
  • DUoS red band - how much load falls in the expensive weekday distribution window.
  • Energy intensity - your kWh per square metre against a sector benchmark.

A guide, not an audit

This free tool gives an indicative estimate from the data and details you enter, using standard assumptions. It is designed to show where to look and what a saving could be worth, not to replace a site survey.

When you want the full picture, our energy consultants validate every finding against your actual contract, DNO charging and site operation, then deliver a costed, prioritised action plan - and, where it makes sense, take your contract to market on your behalf. There is no charge for the initial review.
