The client, a fertilizer company required an Environmental Impact Assessment to support a planning application for a major expansion of an ammonia and urea plant in the Middle East.

The proposed new plant will produce 3,200 metric tonnes per day of urea and 200 metric tonnes per day of ammonia. Key environmental issues included land contamination and the potential for air and marine pollution to occur.
